Hormone Therapy & TRT

Feel like yourself again

Hormones shape energy, strength, mood, sleep, sexual health and metabolism. Levels shift as we age, and when they fall outside a healthy range you can feel it in almost everything you do.

Fatigue, poor sleep, low libido, stubborn weight and low mood can all have a hormonal component. They can also have half a dozen other causes, which is why we start with a proper assessment rather than a prescription.

We offer hormone therapy and TRT, which is testosterone replacement therapy, for both men and women. If treatment is appropriate, your provider will explain which hormone, which route, and why, along with the risks. Ongoing lab work is part of the treatment, not an optional extra.

What It Can Help With

Where patients notice a difference

Depending on your labs and your symptoms, treatment may help support:

Energy and vitality

The everyday stamina that makes work, training and family life feel manageable again.

Muscle mass and strength

Holding on to lean mass, and getting more back from the training you are already doing.

Libido and sexual health

One of the most common reasons people come in, and one of the most common things they stop mentioning to anyone.

Mood and mental clarity

Steadier mood and sharper focus, when low hormones are part of what is dulling them.

Sleep and recovery

Sleeping properly, and bouncing back from hard days the way you used to.

Metabolism and body composition

How your body handles fuel, and where it puts what it does not burn.

Why Optimize

Guided by evidence, not guesswork

The goal is not simply to push your numbers up. It is to understand your levels and your symptoms together, and work out whether treatment is genuinely right for you. Hormone therapy is a real medical treatment with real risks, and we treat it that way.

Pricing

Consultation first, then pricing

Hormone plans depend on your labs, the hormone and the route, so the cost is worked out for you rather than read off a menu. Book a consultation and you will have a clear number before anything is prescribed.

Pricing here is individual, the same way it is for Botox and Medical Weight Loss. Your provider agrees it with you at the consultation.

How It Works

Getting started is simple

  1. Labs, onsite

Start with comprehensive bloodwork drawn right here at Moon Valley, to see your current hormone levels and the other markers that matter alongside them.

  2. Medical consultation

A qualified provider reviews your labs, symptoms, history and goals with you. This can happen in person or over the phone, whichever suits you.

  3. A plan built for you

If treatment is appropriate, your provider explains the options, the route and the risks, then builds a plan around your results rather than a template.

  4. Monitor and adjust

Follow-up labs and appointments track how you are responding, so the dose stays right for you and gets changed or stopped if it should be.

Hormone Therapy & TRT FAQ

Common questions

Yes. TRT, or testosterone replacement therapy, is one of the treatments we offer for men whose labs and symptoms support it. It starts the same way everything else here does, with bloodwork and a proper conversation, and it comes with ongoing monitoring rather than a prescription and a wave goodbye.

No. We treat both men's and women's hormone health. For men that most often means testosterone and the markers that go with it. For women it covers a wider range of hormones through perimenopause, menopause and beyond. The process is the same either way: labs first, then a conversation, then a plan.

Yes. We do not prescribe hormones on symptoms alone. Baseline labs tell us whether a hormone is genuinely low, whether something else explains how you feel, and give us a number to measure against later. Follow-up labs are part of treatment, not optional.

They are real and they depend on the hormone, the dose, the route and your own history. Depending on what is prescribed, they can include blood clots, stroke, heart attack, changes in cancer risk, thickening of the blood, and reduced fertility, which with testosterone may be long lasting or permanent. Your provider will go through the ones that apply to you, and you will read and sign a consent form covering them before starting.

Not necessarily. Bioidentical and natural are marketing terms, not safety findings. Many compounded preparations, including pellets, are not FDA approved and are not reviewed for safety, effectiveness or manufacturing quality the way commercially manufactured products are. We will tell you which product is being recommended and whether an FDA-approved alternative exists.

It depends on your labs and your plan, so we price after an assessment. Call the number on this page and we will talk it through.

Hormone therapy is a medical treatment prescribed only where it is clinically appropriate, and it carries risks your provider will go through with you. Nothing on this page is medical advice or a promise of a particular result.
